Welcome to Southdown Village!
Southdown is one of the seven villages of Copperfield. Most of our 954 homes were built between 1980 and 1990.
We are a well-established neighborhood with mature trees, 2 parks, and a lap pool including a slide, diving board and covered pavilion.
With many owners choosing to upgrade their homes, we are a sought after neighborhood to live in.

There will be no Southdown Board meeting in August. The next meeting will be September 15th.
Water Aerobics Anyone?
Sweetwater Pools is willing to offer water aerobics to our residents for a cost of $35 a session, if enough people(8) are interested. Please contact Graham Management if you are interested.
The 2009 revised ARC guidelines are now available on-line. The revisions help clarify reoccurring questions regarding fences, trees and play sets. Click Architectural Guidelines to review.

Board Minutes
Southdown Village participates in a recycling program. Our recycling day is Thursday morning.
Guidelines for the program are:
Paper: newspaper, magazines, phone books, catalogs, junk mail, envelopes, file folders, computer paper, construction paper, colored paper, corrugated cardboard boxes, cereal and soda/beer boxes, gift boxes, wrapping paper
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED: GLASS (bottles, light bulbs, plates, cups, cookware, windows), plastic bags, Styrofoam and packing peanuts, take-out containers, pizza boxes, containers of hazardous/toxic material, tissue, paper towels, carbon paper, paper milk/juice boxes (waxy boxes), toys, coat hangers, electronic devices, chemicals, food waste
Trash Information-Trash days are Monday and Thursday mornings. Southdown participates in back-door trash pick-up. However, yard clippings must be brought to the curb and bagged or bundled in 3’ lengths. Please do not place your grass clippings at the curb before the night preceding pick-up. It changes the perception of our neighborhood and is a common complaint of your neighbors.
If collection day falls on a holiday, items will be picked up the next trash/recycling day, not the following business day.
